239 Productions is a recording studio based in Lansing, MI. We specialize in recording artists who are starting
out, want exposure, moderately known, widely known, or are an occasional project group. Also, 239 Productions
is a smaller studio, so you won't break the bank to get what you want.
239 Productions started in January of 2002 with its first project, Iconoclastic Hipster. In January of 2003, we decided to go public. Since then, we have recorded other area groups, including K.O. My Love, The Plurals, Rodeo Midgets, Murphy and the Red Rockets, dot, Hunter Rose, Eclyptic Blue, and Jeff and the Jocks. In addition to groups and artists, we have recorded and produced material for local area movies through Greenbook Productions. We have also worked with local artists, composers, and theater groups in scoring and sound design including Riverman Productions.
All services are offered from the laying down of the first track all the way to the final product. 239 Productions
prides itself on being the "full function studio" for the full function artist; the artist does what they do from start to
finish, so we do it, too. It's just that simple.
